Serendipity Bay RV Resort, Marina and Cabins is located in the quaint seaside town of Palacios, Texas. The City by the Sea, set on the scenic shores of Matagorda Bay only 90 minutes from Houston and just a little over two hours from Austin, New Braunfels and San Antonio. Palacios, Texas is a quiet paradise for birders, fishermen, families and everyone who loves the outdoors. The beach is just a 5 minute walk....

The park has been the home to many campers for over 20 years. Whether for summer fun or winter relaxation, guests of all ages have made memories over the years. It remains our goal to provide experiences for years to come.

The present owners purchased the Resort in 2019. The park went through a total transformation to make it one of the premier RV parks along the Texas Gulf Coast. RV pads were upgraded as well as adding more sites, over 100 sites to include back-ins, pull throughs, waterfront back-ins and waterfront pull-ins for motorcoaches.  Some of the upgrades included: 30/50 amp service for all sites, Dish tv, renovated laundry room with coin changer, new swimming pool, bay house renovations, dog run, kayak boat launch, fish cleaning station, electric and water line pedestals, and fitness center.. In addition 11 fully furnished RV/trailers (some with 2 bunk beds in additions to the one bedroom) sleeping 4-6 people. All have TV, wi-fi, linens, oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, plus all kitchen utensils.

The 60 slip marina has a seven foot deep harbor, and we can provide moorage for vessels up to 45 feet in length with 15 foot beams. Complete with a pump out station, our marina is centrally located on the Texas Gulf Coast and can be a great place for liveaboards or mariners cruising the Texas coastline.

If you to fish, our bay has some of the finest shorelines and reefs to land the big trout, flounder or redfish! We also have two fishing docks and a fish cleaning station for your catch. Don't forget to watch for the beautiful local pelicans and seagulls!

Retreat to the tropical tropical swimming pool  surrounded by palapas and you will believe that it's 5 0'clock somewhere. The sports designed pool with beach entry, tanning ledge, surround seating and built-in tables and benches is sure to be a treat for the whole family.
